just open the firmware,it should have nothing to do with the os
I use win7 32bit
just open the firmware,it should have nothing to do with the os
I use win7 32bit
i had the serial number
it is shareware
the v7 and v6 have different hardware id's
They have an 24c02 eeprom which is bizarre in this day and age.
I believe (never verified) that the hardware id is stored there.
For a hex editor I use old hexworkshop v2.54
the 7star 2001 hyper has the same hardware id @0x502C0 and the same remote code @0x50400 as the isatbox if you compare with a hex editor.
I think the v5 had a 4meg flash and k0 processor
interesting since the mainboard on my hellobox gsky v7 is
mainboard gd_s2+hd_k3_v1.1 20141223
and I am running the isatbox firmware on it now after tweaking the hardware id @0x502C0 to match the v7 (8bytes)
some other brands like the 7star 2001 hyper also need the remote hack to match the v7 remote @0x50400 for 400 bytes.
tcom_upg_rs232 or k3_loader_tool
should be able to load gsky v6 firmware
crosat usually has the latest.
If you have a valid emm key you can use the tools tab and use the emm.key file to find the ecm keys in a fresh log in less than 1 second.
found the keys in 20 minutes with a 15meg emm file
there hasn't been any new firmware in 3+ years.
Scan the sats yourself,much faster.
you may have to restore via rs232 and a pc with a real com port.
the f5s had it's own version of the loader available on the factory site.
there was no v139p AFAIK,the versions jumped from 138 to 140 and 140 was the 1st to do powervu.
I have read no other complaints about the firmware on other sites.
I don't have one myself,I can only mention what I read on other sites.(as in my previous posts)
clark tech 4100hd firmware 139p was released around the same time but nobody mentioned if it gets powervu or not.(same hardware as the dr hd d15)
If it did that would make one more receiver that gets powervu.
try the colored buttons on the remote
old posts mention the red key for biss and green key for mgcam

Info from sathobby
1) go to MENU
2) go to System Information
3) go to CAS Menu
4) go and find an empty slot for example slot 60 OFF press ok
5) select PowerVU
CAS < PowerVU >
Ident 00000 for example enter 11804
00 0000000000000000000 < enter your keys manually from txt
01 0000000000000000000 < enter your keys manually from txt
00 0000000000000000000
00 0000000000000000000
make sure when you make your SCAN enter correct transponder 11804-V-27500 otherwise your channels will not work
sounds like you have to scan 1 sat at a time then delete channels.
could be firmware that has the keys hardcoded in?
I don't have one to play with.
Either that or some secret menu.
each model had it's own version of loader.
The instructions should say hit next on the loader and you will see a progress bar that eventually goes to 100%,this just loads the firmware to ram.You have to hit next again to actually burn the firmware to flash.
You will see another bar go to 100% then the loader will say next finished exit.exit
f3 had it's own loader
