joco1111 i've tried on few distributions and work each time. But because i do not like question 'where to put the file' i made it other way.

Now you need to copy this part and execute in terminal window

it installs xxxhost which can be seen if you open all hosts. 18+ icon will be shown.

for openpli i strongly suggest to install bash before executing script.

opkg install bash

on opli install also wget, because default one is taken from busybox, which has not all options

opkg install wget

OBH,OPli, OpenVix, OATV, Egami were tested in current version and haven;t seen any problems.

I did try this method (IPTVPlayer) and j00zek mod (IPTVPlayerMario). System without amost any extra addons. It means weekend i will have to make more tests to try to break it. Let You know

i know, good tht you found it. Wrong directory ;-)

It works same way as Windows, if you type wrong location file will not be found. The PVR is not so smart as You and doesn;t calculate, just executes Your will.

simple howto:

copy file (for example) to /hdd folder

then login via telnet to decoder and copy following commands one by one :

unzip /hdd/xxxhosts_py2py3.zip
chmod a+x /hdd/*.sh
/hdd/xxxhosts.sh

That is all, but also read Dripet post, where is described how to make life easier ;-) file has to be extracted from archive anyway, but even Windows can handle zip archives.

as i described /hdd is example, but i like it because it stays after any new system installation (if you have hdd drive, memory stick or sd card mounted)

And what did you do with script. Did You execute it localy, or just copied to hosts folder?
