Hi again, I have deleted the "YouTube" search history from this file but seems to make no difference as the history remains, I suspect the data is held in anohter file and then copied to the settings file upon boot. Anymore ideas for getting rid of the history will be greatly appreciated............Spevs

Alright guys, I'll still share this fix with you. I changed the last version for android, so now YT Live also works (it doesn't open every one).I tested the other categories and they work.Video rewinding also works well.Also, test 4K videos if they work for you.
In usr /lib/enigma2/ python... Youtube copy this file in the attachment.
Tested on DM800SE, atv 7.3 image.

I managed to fix it partially using a fix from another topic.
The only thing is that the Live Broadcast category does not work. Youtube makes changes every couple of months, so the plugin stops working. However, it is better to wait for a fix from the developer. This is just my test and not for the public. You can try to fix it yourself, it's not difficult. Changes are in YouTubeVideoUrl.py.
