Out of curiosity what version of oscam is everyone running? I've been trying to setup a new Wetek with Pbnigma 5.1 all weekend and line is showing as connected but won't clear. Tried about 5 different versions although most likely my setup as I'm new to oscam.

Hi guys non of these ports work for me although I can ftp in using wetek IP and root/root. Running OpenATV 5.1. Port 8888 worked once and never again. Any ideas? Thanks.

I've just bought a Wetek play box and installed Openelec on the nand but am having trouble configuring Tvheadend to scan VM cable channels. Has anyone been successful with this or can anyone give me a few pointers?

Could someone advise if windows should detect the box when connected via usb-serial initially? I can't get my mini combo to connect at all. I need to reflash as I tried updating channels and now have all sound and no picture.

Hi all - looking a bit of advice or suggestions for problem with DM500C/Commando 15d. Basically, when I do autobouquets scan very few movie channels are picked up. I have tried brute force scan and normal fast scan for my area (Belfast 6887/Net ID00021). All other channels are fine. I have a second identical box with same image on it and it works perfectly. I've even copied this image and flashed this to box with missing channels but when i select these (movie channels) they are unwatchable and badly distorted. I've tried scanning directly without the splitter but cannot bring these missing channels in. Has anyone any idea what it could be?

Hi, I've installed Commando 15 and its all working well except for my movie bouquet which is only listing FTA channels. I was reading in notes with Commando that there is an option to toggle FTA only on and off but cannot find this. Could someone help me out please.

Hi all,

Looking a bit of help here. I've just installed Commando on a DM500C but cannot get MGcamd working correctly. I think I have FTP'd all the correct files across but when I look at softcam status nothing is there. My Newcamd.list file should be correct as I took it from my box prior to flashing with Commando. I've tried changing box type and network mode in the mg_cfg files too but nothing happening. MGcamd is showing as on but cannot see my line details or connection status.

Oh b@llz I've had the cable feed attached to the sat input for the past two nights lol. I just assumed that the other rf connection was for a digital free view aerial. I'll need to get a connector. Cheers delboy. What a plonker.

Hi everyone,

Hoping someone can help me out here. Just got the mini combo for use with VM but cannot get it to work no matter which frequencies and QAM etc I try. I already own a dreambox dm500c and have tried copying the settings etc but to no avail. This is my second night at it. In the installation screen for cable install i'm showing no signal no matter what I enter. My line works fine in my DM500C so just don't know. Has anyone any experience in the cable side of things? I'm in the Belfast area BTW. The sat side works fine I just downloaded firmware and channel list from the site and it's all good. Is there anyway of copying a cable.xml file to the box as I have a brute force scan for UK? Also, the receiver is a combo but I don't suppose that you can run sat/and cable at the same time?

I've owned ***box F3 for about 3 weeks now and am already thinking of upgrading. But only because of the rubbish EPG which only shows "now/next". And the fact im a "tinkerer" and am interested in learning about and messing with plugins etc. However, saying that the ***box is easy to set up, works perfectly and has crystal clear HD and is a good basic box. You can import channel lists etc into to put channels into categories and it also works great on wi-fi (dongle required)and is cheap.

So as a basic "no frills" box you can't go wrong.
