I would be most grateful for any help please. I have a GiGaBlue UHD UE 4K with two tuners A and B, and a plug in twin tuner for terrestrial channels. I had it set up so that tuner configuration on the menu showed Tuners A to I, with tuner I being the terrestrial tuner. I decided today to do a software update and after it rebooted I cannot see Tuner I any more, just A to H . So now I've lost all my saorview Irish stations on terrestrial . I've no idea what to do, or what I did when setting it up originally, and would be grateful if anyone could help .

The On Demand plugin had been working fine for me up to last week. Now however when I select BBC iplayer and then select a program the machine crashes and reboots. The same problem now occurs with Itv Player , except the box doesen't crash, I just get the message ' no streams available' RTE Player and 3player still work fine as before. I am using a Vu+ ultimo with the latest vix image. I would be grateful for any help or suggestions.

I'm also having some issues lately with tsmedia, however its with the one channel movies. Everything else seems ok, ice films working fine as is IPTV feeds. I have updated to the 2.1 version and nothing opens up when I go to one channel. I deleted it and reinstalled the 1.8 version as it used to work on that but still the same problem, no movies showing on one channel. Anyone else have I wonder having this problem ?

Yes checked Devices and it's there. I also tried another USB slot and rebooted. I can't remember the driver I downloaded for the N***-T but I think it was dib0700. Anyway when I downloaded it and rebooted , it recognised the tuner, so I'm guessing the driver is ok. At this stage I'm ready to throw my hat at it and am wondering would it have anything to do with the fact that I appear to have a faulty slot B in my Ultimo ? ( see my other post in this section )

Yes I have it configured like that. As I said the exact same configuration scans no problem in the Duo. I notice when I go to Service searching / Automatic scan , the tuner does not appear there, but when I pick Manual scan, the tuner is there and I can enter the frequency and bandwidth and then scan. I have tried all the bandwidths available in the manual scan option .

I have a Win TV N***-T usb tuner which I need to get working on my Vu+ Ultimo for the Irish Terrestrial channels. When I enter the frequency and use 8 Mhz bandwidth and do a manual scan it doesn't pick up anything. I am using Vix 3.0 latest build. Now when I put the same stick in the duo and do the same scan it picks up the channels fine. I also tried a sundtek usb tuner. Same story, works fine on the duo but nothing on the ultimo. The duo is also using Vix 3.0 latest build. I wonder is there any reason why this should be so. Does the Ultimo need something else or am I missing something ? I would be most grateful for any help or advice as I really need this to work on the Ultimo.

I'm having problems with Tuner B on my Ultimo. I'm using Openvix 3.0, build 554.
My set up is I had 2 satellite tuners in A and B for FTA channels on 28.2E, and a terrestrial tuner for the Irish stations in slot C.
I noticed last week if I had a program recording and I changed to another channel, the picture would freeze and get pixelated. This was always on tuner B. I thought initially the problem was a faulty tuner in slot B and I got a new tuner. I actually got the dual tuner for the Ultimo. I put this in slot C and replaced the tuner in B with the terrestrial tuner
    Tuner A: single Sat 28.2E
Tuner B: DVB-T for Irish saorview channels
    Tuner C: Single Sat 28.2E
Tuner D: Same as Tuner A.
Now the DVB-T in B doesn't work, same problem , frozen pixelated picture.
I then swaped A and B , DVB-T then works fine in A , but B not working. So basically now all I can do is record one channel and watch another one and I have lost my terrestrial channels. I tried flashing a new image ( Black Hole), and same result. Just wondering have I missed something or is there anything else I could try ?

I am using openvix 3.0 build 569 on mu Ultimo. I recently set the autotimer to record a particular program . I now find I don't like the series and would like to cancel it. I can't seem to see any obvious way of doing this and the program and its repeats just keep getting recorded. I use CrossEPG.

I have had Vix 2.3 on my Ultimo since I got it and everything was working fine. I just decided today to flash the latest Vix 3.0 Build 553. Everything went fine and during the installation it said it detected a backup and did I want to restore this. I picked yes and I was delighted when all my settings were restored and everything working great. I noticed TS Panel seemed to have disappeared and I decided to FTP a copy to the box. Then I found I seem to be unable to connect to the box. I got the IP from network information and used root as user and left password blank, all as I used to do with the previous image, but I cant get it to connect. My internet is working fine and I was able to download 1 channel VOD with no problem. I wonder is there a password maybe I should be using ? AS it stands the new image is great and this is the only issue. I would be most grateful for any help or advice.

Thanks for that but I'm afraid I panicked a bit as the Ireland v Wales rugby match was about to start and I reflashed and have everything working again. Might try merlin again as I'd love to have a media player that would enable me to resume player from the point I left off.
