Thanks for the replys mate, I did all the above, before the post, so its looking like a new Lnb, could be worse I suppose, thanks again to all.

Yes i thought of that too that is why i said check frequencies and polarity it could as the poster says still be LNB fault but i would check simple things first

    Tried that mate cheers.

Are all outputs being used on your quad? You could try different ports as it's basically four lnb's in one box.

Update! checked a few channels and have both H & V polarities, thought I was on a winner until I got both,,,,

How can I check this mate?

How can I check this mate?

Can you check the frequencies and polarity of the channels you scanned for instance if the channels scanned are all H polarity and no V channels are coming in then YES your LNB is failing or it could be the other way around where you recieve ALL V channels and no H channels if you check this it may give a insight to your issue

    Hi All,

I flashed a fresh install of the latest Vix Image on my Solo2.
I carried out a service scan on 28.2 and only found 575 channels, "problem" no Sly feeds.
All FTA, BT & Eir channels but no Sly.
Put a meter on the the dish and the signal is 87%.
Took a feed from the neighbors dish and scanned all channels no bother.
My dish is a technomate and an ultra dark quab Lnb, the neighbors is the standard sly dish.
Anyone encounter this issue, or have any insight to a fix, apart from the obvious.

    Cheers

Sky is planning to further reduce the number of standard definition only set top boxes as part of an efficiency drive.

The move, outlined in the company's latest annual report, will enable Sky to move forward in utilsing newer broadcast technologies, including the more efficient DVB-S2 and MPEG4. A similar move has already been completed in Germany, where the pay TV's channels have moved to an all MPEG4 environment.

Details of how it wants to achieve this efficiency measure have not been disclosed.

Announcing its latest results, for the twelve months ending 30th June 2016, Sky reported a 20% increase in revenue; operating profit up 1% to £977 million. Across all of its businesses, Sky had 808,000 new customers. On average, UK customers spend £400 a year on Sky products.

During 2016/17, Sky plans to offer a number of new services, including a new Ultra HD service in the UK, Ireland, Germany and Austria and the launch of the new Sky Sports Mix channel for UK and Irish subscribers in August. The NOW TV brand for its low-cost streaming service has been launched in Italy, while in Germany, where there's already an on-demand service called "TV Now", Sky's streaming service has been named "Sky Ticket". Sky will also launch a German version of Sky 1 later this year.

Jeremy Darroch, Group Chief Executive, commented:

"With revenue up 7% and profits up 12%, it's been another excellent year for Sky. We have broadened our business and expanded into new consumer segments, applying our proven strategy across the group.
"The group is leveraging the many opportunities of scale; sharing resources, insights, expertise and innovation. We are investing in a broad range of world class entertainment in every market, distributed across an unrivalled choice of market-leading platforms and supported by excellent service, because these are the things that really matter to customers."

Meanwhile rival pay TV operator BT has announced it has grown its TV subscriber base to 1.6 million customers after adding 56,000 subscribers in its latest financial statement, outlining the telecom's progress in the three months ending 30th June 2016.

    Hi Lads,

I'm having a spot of bother with catseye European sats list.
I downloaded via the LSS and rebooted the box, but nearly all bouquets are showing N/A bar the odd visible channel.
I carried out a full scan and almost 5,000 channels loaded so they are being picked up on the transponder.
Anyone had any experience of this &how you resolved same...

    collected errors:
    * opkg_prepare_file_for_install: Refusing to load file
'/var/cache/opkg/2bdaae7a17d641c4c595e1d0d6259b9f_catseye_E2_settings_file_European_sats 15.04.16 .ipk as it matches the installed version of catseye........

I too have encountered this problem on the direct feed from the motor sat to the Vu Zero.
However, I also have 2 further feeds from the dish to 2 diseqc switches that fed a Solo 2 & a Solo without issue.
    Strange...:hmmm:

    Hi Mate,
You can download the cam from the feeds in the plugins.
As for entering your details you will need to use a PC and an FTP to communicate with the box.
