I used airvpn for a few years and found them very good. They also provided for port forwarding.

You could route your devices you need a vpn for, through your current vpn and leave your solo2 / oscam connected as normal to the internet (if you trust your current peers that is)

I had an identical setup to you a year back and 3 blocked it also for a short while. It became accessible after a few days and a few restarts to try n shuffle my ip)

    Never found out why.

Using vodafone now as it's much faster than 3 was in my location (although data is capped now)

I normally go for lg but would consider anything within price range really.

I prefer a basic non smart tv but they are becoming scarce.

A good android box will take care of all the smart stuff, kodi, iptv etc.

A soundbar with most modern tv's is a must as the onboard amplifier / speakers are normally crappy.

    Ah I see your problem.

Maybe a blind scan on your cable tuner might sort it out.

Try Blind scan tuner b and then tuner c

I hope this helps but am not able to confirm as I don't have any access to those packages.

So as someone that doesn't use pure2, do people prefer the grid menus or old school list menu

I used to prefer old school lists but since putting purE2 on most of my receivers, I do prefer the grid menu ( after initial teething period)
I also can say it hasn't miss a beat so far.:thumbup:

Your clines on your enigma2 decoder just give you the "keys" to de-scramble the channel your tuned to from your dish but it's your dish that gives you the channel reception.

A firestick is primarily an internet streaming device, has no tuner so cannot receive your channels your clines grants access to.

What you need to look into is iptv for your firestick, google is your friend in that pursuit.

Have a look around the bottom of the other capacitors to see if they have leaked (may be discolored around the base but not necessarily bulging at the top).

Clean off your powdery residue, inspect the tracks to make sure they are not corroded, and look at the flip side of the board for any discoloration.

Also double check that the capacitor you installed is inserted the right way as those type are polarity sensitive afaik.

You should get away with the higher voltage rating.

Looks like a diseqc switch alright.

In tuner configuration, select your tuner that the cable is connected.

    Configuration mode - simple

    Mode - diseqc A/B/C/D

Port A corresponds to Lnb 1 on your switch ,whatever that satellite the dish is pointed to.

Port B/C corresponds to Lnb 2, 3 on your switch, whatever sats that dish 2 and 3 are pointed towards.

Port D - nothing connected (lnb 4 on switch)

Check all connections are secure (looks like receiver cable on switch isn't fully screwed home in pic 1)

Do a scan and see if your picking up anything.

    Best of luck.

How many cables / feeds are connected to your receiver?

If you only have one cable, then you may have a diseqc switch.

It needs to be setup in tuner configuration.

Try diseqc ABCD , where A is your first sat, B is your second and C is your third.

Try a full auto scan to see if you pick up channels.

A photo of your setup would help enormously, especially your dish, switch.

What satellites are you tuned to?
