    Not noticed anything missing, they have put a new satellite in place and moved about a load of TP's. So far so good ( i was worried they were going to narrow the beam)

    Found 99 TP's and 1238 channels in SE England With a CM120 dish.

    you not explaining the full story. The question is how do you manage to have 2 decoders in the same state.

    Why do you not have these decoders, are they yours or not ?

    Low level format the usb stick first, use this tool that is free.

    Take time to read and understand what everything dose, blindly taking configs from someone else is not likely to be of any help.

    We all have different requirements.

    The difference between oscam and oscam emu is the emu part. EMU is a softcam emulator for biss, powervu and other key based encriptions, with the right keys you can decode some of those channels on various sats.

    Yes it looks as though it has not worked.

    Did you get any errors reported by the software ?

    Are you erasing the flash and bootloader ?

    Is it taking about 4 minutes to complete ?

    Are you sure you have a usb2 male to male cable ?


    You have nothing to loose trying a factory reset if all else has failed.

    First you need a source for the actual epg data that you require.

    Then you need that data to be in XMLTV format.

    That is then cross referenced to your channel names and satellite service reference ID's to marry the correct data with the correct TV channels.

    We use epgimporter plugin on enigma2 devices.


    So it is possible, but we need details of what device, and what channel and what data your trying to use.

    Indeed, that really is something that they should look into.

    Like Chris said im not sure if the M.2 read and write speed would actually be utilised correctly (i would like to think so - but i just really dont know)

    I use an SSD in my ultimo4k for timeshift and basic recordings - its only 180gb so also have an 8tb HDD via the usb3 port. I only have the SSD as it is completely silent.

    Prices have come down a lot for the solid state types, and with no moving parts should really be cheaper IMO.

    The sf8008 is a good very good STB for your budget.

    In order to record one channel while you watch another, or pause live TV (timeshift) you will also need a hard drive for the STB (or at the very least a usb stick)
