Thx it worked out fine with me on my VuSolo2

I've deleted the old "plugin.pyo" file and copy/paste above "plugin.py" file

Then restart completely my Vusolo2 and cooltvguide plugin is operational again

Find below a VTI Full Backup running v 9.0.1 + HD picons list for Asrtra 19.2 (ftp this list under picon folder)

This image contains:

- VTI image 9.0.1 with theme Black Harmony 3.11 (December 2015)
- Please download yur own cam config files from VTI panel
- Favorite channels list for Astra 19.2 and Hotbird 13 preloaded with Twin tuners setup using 2 LNBs pointing to Hotbird and Astra
- Installed plugins: Cool TV guide, TS Panel 7.5, EPG import (auto download every day @2AM with Rytec sources Benelux & France), XBMC launcher, weather plugin in EPG bar,...
- This image is mounted with a Hard disk (media/hdd). Recording set on media/hdd/Movies)
- Picon folder is located in media/hdd/picon. Please delete or update this option to fit your need.

Dear

In case your receiver was hanging the last days (loading logo upper left corner) using VTI image 9.0.1 then please update to latest software now available in the VTI panel.
Problem came from the Rytec sources (Benelux & France) in EPG Import plugin not being populated anymore...

In case you face epg problems with Rytec sources since a couple of days and using crossepg then please follow this short tutorial.

1. Download zip files below
2. Unzip it and ftp the 2 files to your VU box
3. Copy the 2 files "crossepg_rytec_update.py" & "crossepg_rytec_update.pyo" in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/CrossEPG/
Do overwritte existing files with these 2 ones.
4. Reboot your box
5. Go in settings\Crossepg and update the rytec sources
6. Once done go in xmltv providers list to select epg files you want to download
7. Click on download now

Box will now start to download and parse files before loading them into your box.

Congratulations it should work now:80:

If your tuners are correctly configured but you use a BH image > 2.1.1 then it is a known bug issue with dual tuner.
During the flash procedure the kernel of your Vu was upgraded causing this dual tuner problem.
All you need to do is to downgrade to an older BH image < 2.1.1 or flash your box with another image.

I've flashed recently my vu solo2 with a VTI 8.0 image and issue was immediately solved

All I was and I am still a big fan of blackhole image until a few days ago...
After flashing my box to 2.1.5 I noticed that my dual tuner was not working anymore.
I've re-installed a personnal back up of Vu solo 2.1.2 but experienced the same...
After a few research I found out that latest BH images >2.1.1 do update Vu solo2 kernel which is the root casue of this issue...

So until this is fixed by BH Team I had to go back to latest VTI image 8.0 with Concinnity Theme :cool:

Do you insert your usb stick with the flash image in the front panel and have you disconnected other usb sticks or hard disk from the rear pannel ?
If so it should work otherwise try to take another backup image or original image from Vusolo2 section and it should work...

Hi the problem is linked to the latest images from Blackhole > 2.1.1
All those images have updated the kernel of your Vu solo2 which is blocking the possibility to watch a second channel during a recording or when first tuner is busy.

I had this issue with BH 2.1.5 and decided to flash my box back to VTI 8.0
Problem was immediately solved.

You can make a test to confirm. Start recording a channel and zap to another one during the recording.
If you get a black screen then you need to downgrade your image to BH < 2.1.1 or use a VTI or any other type of Vu solo2 images...

It took me 2 days to find out this problem...

Now it works on Kodi using Vu addon but also through dreamdroid/Vu player (Android app to strean your box) or through WebIf.

If you are looking for a free dyndns solution to replace your former "xxxx.dyndns.org" then follow below instructions

1. Create a free account on website http://www.noip.com/
2. Once your account is created, you can define up to 3 free noip dyndns accounts. Several noip domains are available for free
3. In your BH image of your VU receiver go into BH applications and select "INADYN"app then type your personal info like described in the screenshot
4. Once parameters are typed in you can switch on your inadyn app which should turn into green
5. Reboot your VU receiver to verify it is still green meaning it will stay running in the background
6. You can also check in the log files that your WAN IP is sent to your noip dynamic address

that's it you are now able to reach your receiver or LAN network from the internet :-)
