the reason Y movies doesn't work is ,aswith some other 'sources' they have begun using cloudflare,the 'private version of samsamsam ' has solved this but we have to keep faith with the other providers tilthey find a solution

Unless you are family or close friend of the developer you have no chance of getting the private version and any one who is in the select few is not going to allow it out in the wild.

the thing is, he has been giving access, to some members of his 2 FB pages, one closed group, one open group. ,they're littered with requests for private version. I joined both ,left as quick, TBH, initially I did have sympathy for him, but watching the way he treats anyone who disagrees, changed that. The pages are little more than a platform for swathes of angry exchanges C&P to the wall, little else goes on. At the end of the day, it's his work & his choice what he does with it, good luck to him. Alienating lots of people that used his plugin & supported him morally as he withdrew his plugin from them, isn't the way to go, imo

the 'fix' involving manually editing audio pids , did slow boxes down a bit, you would notice oscam taking a bit longer to clear, it only affected 4 channels for me, in Ireland, but I would imagine with the amount affected in UK it would be more noticeable. The new vix seems to have helped greatly, regarding openatv, which I don't use, I did read there were issues with a set of updates to open atv 6.1,can't say if they been addressed yet

this has been an ongoing issue over thepast 10 days or so. there is an existing thread on it here. It appears dvb data has become malformed, whether by accident or design who knows? open vix have released a new image to counteract this, there is also a patch fix released this past weekend, mst mainstream mages are incorporating this patch, you couls assume BH will follow suit soon

preferred tuner is for recordings, timeshift etc. if both tuners are configured correctly ,what ever ur preference one sat one cable, or both cable, which ever you use, then move on to setting up autobouquets maker, for the required sources, which ever they may be, then you should be able to scan both sources, If not,check cabling& connections, many times the cause of broken picture of loss of channels, post a screen shot of abm setup if you're not sure, I'll help if i'm here or I'm sure someone else will

use latest version of abm & check your connections & tuner configs/abm configs, re no info on epg, try latest epgimporter & use updated rytec sources,both are in latest openvix, I'd guess are on github too

oscam would be your better option, you should also check all your cabling & connections, these can cause issues too, far more than they would on the sat side

you don't need to force reload of epg on boot,I'd rather store crossepg data on usb than on HDD. I'm using latest Vix on all boxes, 4 vu's 2 edisions . The rytec source files are being changed in 2018, they already have been in the newest vix image. I use crossepg on the vu boxes & epgimporter on the Edisions, no issue other than Irish TV3 channels may not get 7 days info, varies between 3 & 5, but that's not an issue.
Afaik when your box starts the epg info is read & held in ram til box is powered down again. crossepg download is fairly big, so you're storing a lot of info on your HDD. There is also the possibility the epg has been corrupted. Try a fresh flash, store your epg data on usb & don't ask box to force epg load on boot, see how you go then

rytec sources were updated in 5.0.031. it does work ,for me in Ireland anyway, maybe the gaps ,I'm guessing lack of epg info, relate to 'dead services', you can remove them via abm configure then scan

I noticed that running crossepg, sometimes the link to sources doesn't open, as you have also.
As an alternative epgimporter, is working fine, on the latest openvix image, UKsat/vm are on single source, they work for Ireland too

power off box ,disconnect the sat cables from box. restart box see if it boots then

when you say stuck on starting, is the box showing just a red light? or is starting showing on display? if it's the first there's a thread on here re replacing capacitors, if it's the latter
try flashing the box with an older BH image ie 2.0.4, if your box is a clone the drivers in this image won't harm it, if this revives the box you can then flash with a newer appropriate image -
RTE2 HD has gone the way of the other HD channels , no longer clears, gone over a week now unfortunately

there is a new version of autobouquets 28.2e with readers updated which will return these channels
