I will try PLI today and let you know buddy!
-
followed the steps to the latter, but it still didn't work for me
-
Good morning bud, were you able to look into and found a solution to plugin not working with ATV?
Regards.
-
usb stick is from realtek
try this over telnet:
opkg list | grep 8192
then you will see, what you can install, hope will work
Code
Display Moreroot@vuzero4k:~# opkg list | grep 8192 enigma2-plugin-drivers-network-usb-rtl8192eu - 1.0-r0 firmware-rtl8192cu - 1.1+git296+4b2b151-r0 - firmware-rtl8192cu version 1.1+gitAUTOINC+4b2b151e18-r0 firmware-rtl8192eu - 1.1+git296+4b2b151-r0 - firmware-rtl8192eu version 1.1+gitAUTOINC+4b2b151e18-r0 kernel-module-8192eu - 1.0-r0 - Driver for Realtek USB wireless device 8192eu kernel-module-8192eu-4.1.20-1.9 - 1.0-r0 - 8192eu kernel module kernel-module-8192eu-dbg - 1.0-r0 - Driver for Realtek USB wireless device 8192eu - Debugging files kernel-module-8192eu-dev - 1.0-r0 - Driver for Realtek USB wireless device 8192eu - Development files kernel-module-rtl8192c-common-4.1.20-1.9 - 4.1.20-r0.1.3 - rtl8192c-common kernel module kernel-module-rtl8192ce-4.1.20-1.9 - 4.1.20-r0.1.3 - rtl8192ce kernel module kernel-module-rtl8192cu-4.1.20-1.9 - 4.1.20-r0.1.3 - rtl8192cu kernel module

But it seems to be loading, your problem is that you don't see the wifi AP ? Do you see others or none at all ?
none at all

please try this file in Attachment
copy the .ipk file via FTP (DCC_E2 or FileZilla) to the box in the /tmp folder
Connect to the box via telnet and enter the following command:
opkg install /tmp/*.ipk
reboot
Coderoot@vuzero4k:~# opkg install --force-reinstall /tmp/*.ipk Installing firmware-rtl8192eu (1.1+git296+4b2b151) on root Downloading http://openpli8xstar.japhar.net/feeds/openpli-8xstar/all/firmware-rtl8192eu_1.1+git296+4b2b151-r0_all.ipk. unfortunately, the WIFI network is still not detected.

On DM800HDse...
opkg update
opkg install kernel-module-rtl8192cu
opkg install enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-wirelesslan
WPA/WPA2
opkg install kernel-module-aes-generic-3.2-dm800se
opkg install kernel-module-arc4-3.2-dm800se
everything I try it says No packages installed or removed
Maybe I will need all .ipks for VU+ zero4k
-
You need to install other packages as well, the wirelesslan, the various libraries to support encryption, etc...
Are you able to see "open/not encrypted" Wifi ?
TS
No, I am not able...
