I'm confused by many versions posted here. Need one for Mutant HD51 running openvix. Got this box as replacement for My HD2400. Thanks in advance.

I've one running very good on Mutant HD2400 and at the moment much stable than mgcamd. Want to try on Zgemma H5.2TC but not sure which version to download. Any pointer would be appreciated.

OK looked around and nothing comes close to these boxes esp for dual tuners. Slightly confused as to the difference between two versions. Considering that both versions has low ROM/RAM, will the CPU or any hardware upgrade on H.2S worth extra money over 2S? Also how good are range on remotes?

Do these boxes support internal HD? if not how good are USB recording and playback?

Update for ref:

I bought Genuine CWT 12V 5A and received in 2 days. Working perfect since last Saturday. For anyone in future looking for power brick, make sure:
1) Output voltage is 12V
2) Minimum output current is 3.5A. The above adapter is 5A but not a problem as it's device dependant on current draw ie Solo2 won't draw any more than required.
3) Plug size is barrel type 5.5x2.5mm.
4) Just to keep within original specs but optional, Efficiency Level : V

This afternoon found solo2 dead. Looks like Power Adapter is the culprit (hopefully :59:) as no light on LED. Can anyone point to direction where to get replacement/compatible one or better still any member got spare one.

Most likely a clone. One way of checking is looking for "dots" around screw fixings. Look closely on placements of "dots" around screws in the link by Master G (dots inside fan). In clone, these dots are not properly aligned outside and around of screws.

I've got samsung laser printer which is usb only. As the solo2 is always ON thought could use the box to act as a print server. Possible and if yes any pointer on how to do this.

Thanks gents for replies. I've no problem transcoding & streaming over either on LAN or mobile network. Though on mobile network, quality of stream is very very poor which to my understanding is due to limitation on bitrate of 1Mbits. The problem i've is while streaming the transcoded one, I get no sound on any of the HD channels on TV (watching at same time).

After many hrs of googling, gave up and opted for simpler way of asking here :53_002:

1) I can view transcoded video fine on computer via LAN/mobile network. For it to work flawlessly, I'd to put framerate@30fps. Tried with 25/50 but unwatchable with pixallated and dropped frames. Is is normal?
2) When watching (1) above, I get no sound on HD channels for TV. Hardware limitation or need to play with some configuration?

Fully boxed and working 100% includes remote, manual and original box. Bought from here in August last year for £110 inclusive. Upgraded to VU+ solo2 hence the sale. I'll upload more pictures if anyone is interested.

SUCCESS!!! with pog's image. Not sure about this but only difference I found is on conf file httpallowed line. Off the head IMO martin's only has 10.0.0.0-10.255.255.255 while pog's got whole set (127.0.0.1,192.168.0.0-192.168.255.255,10.0.0.0-10.255.255.255). Anyway Thanks all.

oscam stable that came with image, newcamd.

oscam.conf is fine with that line and I can start the oscam but it's not reading the server file. Ecm info is blank. on Webgui, lb/reader value = no data, status = unkown, Address = 0.0.0.0, CAID= 0000:0000.

for some reason, I couldn't get oscam to work. This happens to few other images while on some works without any problem. Status is "UNKNOWN" on oscam page. Any ideas??

on pressing the OK button comes up with "channel seletcion (radio) - user bouquets". Notice the "radio" .

OK I'm having a very very strange problem and not sure how to explain it. Every now and then, the box seems to loose the favorites or all channels list and only displays the radio channels. Pressing OK->red button (all channel)/Green (sat) shows only the radio ones. But if I try webinterface or android app, I can see full default bouquetes and all channels from satellite. Now if I change to any other fav using either webinterface or android app, then I can view/browse/change to any channel using either red/green button.

Anyone??

nvm. working fine now but not sure how though.

strange..now I can't seem to start any of the cams. I knew it worked before but had to re-install again. Anyone having similar problem?
