The signal is there !! Remember the twist on the LNB is anti clockwise ( westerly satellite). The precise number degrees fo twist will be on flysat or kingof sat. Hispasat at 30W is a stronger signal so you should be able to find it with a 60cn dish. When you have found 30w intelsat 27.5 w is only a small adjustment away few mm twist on the dish anti clockwise, from above. Good to use the signal finder on your satbox to see if you are close to the satellite . Good to put tv screen near to your dish so you can see the signal strength as you are tweaking the dish. There are mobile phone apps that show you where in the sky to aim your dish. I use a good hiking compass to get the direction from flysat .

Hi How about reflash with latest say open atv. Then download latest oscam ipk from this site install. Run it check if it works on 27 w . If not working check to see if SoftCam.Key file is there. If not pm me

At least you get a clean start . also fairly automatic process, so you can do something else while the box flashes. I say this as I managed to get it working ( Sky DE) by accident by going through this process

the oscam ipk at the start of the thread seems to work fine for SKY DE

How about reflashing your box from the internet openatv then download ciefp settings .This will set up bouquets for sky stream relay etc. Find a free cccam line , upload to your box latest SoftCam.Key file to config directory, fingers crossed

OK thanks for that now I know that the problem is not at my end rather with the provider ? Is that correct?

But weird that my provider is only giving one channel rather than none at all!

    Thanks in adavance

Hi thanks for the useful info. Just wonderng of anyone has any ideas. I am using Oscam from start of thread. Sky DE works fine but only one channel works at all on Sky uk London Live it is videoguard and it does work ok , but none of the other channels work , just wondering if anyone has any ideas ?

    Thanks

Hi well worth making the move to enigma 2.

The lamedb file can be downloaded ceifp(lamedb settings) I think it is here on this web site. Download latest oscam.ipk file from this website use FILEZILLA to upload your files to the box.

The epg is obtained from the plugin epg import

The advantage is epg and BBC 4 in HD latest SoftCam.Key files have also the BBC radio stations. I think this file is loaded when you install the OSCAM.ipk file

    Good luck

80cm dish should be fine. If you have managed to get 30w then you are very close. Find 30 w again. Then you will need to rotate the dish very slightly anticlockwise. Try 1 mm at a time. Also you will need point the dish down by 1 or 2 mm. When you scan use manual scan and just scan the 11495v 44100 9/10 transponder. There are lots of transponders that you can't pick up on intelsat 901. You will not have to adjust the dish more than a few mm from . good luck

Great stuff all works. Hope this helps but when using FILEZILLA forgot to set the data transfer to BINARY so got file corruption. Hope other people don't make the same mistake

Thanks again for your effort :smiling face:

if you look on this site there is a 27.5w guide. Included in this thread is a very useful text file with the lamedb entries. Very kind of someone to take the trouble.
