Look in the CCcam 2.3.2 thread.
-
Why do you ask for 2.3.1, when 2.3.2 ha been released?
Maybe we should close this thread.
-
Connects to OSCam. Shows up like this
cccam (2.3.1-9d508a)
-
No this 2.3.1 is the same as 2.3.0 just new name since its compiled for Arm but just the same contence so no need to update
Not quite true. There is also a new menu in webgui called CardUsage
-
For those who only use oscam as cc client are there any advantages (speed, etc) to convert to cccam 2.3.1?
Thanks
I do not see any. If you have a working OSCam, stick to it. 10 times better gui ++++

Ten Below is correct.
No need for y-mod any more.
Compile it your self with the link above.
Then you know there the source of your software and that it has no hidden doors.
Simple and easy to do. Just follow the description. -
When you add the card you do not need the mhz and possible not caid, so this should be minimum config:
oscam.serverCode[reader] label = Viasat protocol = internal device = /dev/sci0 boxid = xxxxxxx detect = cd group = 1 emmcache = 1,3,2
It will auto detect both frequency and caid.
So after first run you will see the mhz field has data. -
OSCam EMU
OSCam Y-mode is a complied OSCam with support for key files.
But do we know what other stuff have been added there?
Since this is not an open source version it can be anything. So what to use instead?
Complie emu suport inn to OSCam your self.Follow the direction here:
It uses default CCcam SoftCam.Key file :)

Here is to one I use in Ubuntu.
/var/bin/auto.sh
Bash#!/bin/bash # Start oscam if its not running ver=10xxx pidof oscam$ver >/dev/null if [ $? -ne 0 ] ; then echo "Restarting OScam Server $ver : $(date)" >> /var/log/auto.txt /var/bin/oscam$ver -b fi
Remember to set "ver" to the version you are running.
Add script to Crontab to run it automatically.
Type "crontav -e" and add:This will den test if OScam is running onece every minute.
It also starts OSCam at reboot.
