Seems fine today, I guess not my box or resource after all.

I am running Openatv 7.3 on a Zgemma H9s, when viewing iptv the video freezes every 45s.

Sams provider at same location on Firestick works fine, and the same provider on my box with version 7.2 also worked fine.

The only variable is the openatv version. I've tried switching skins, I've run all updated via the menu.

Any ideas?

I tried this again with OpenATV 7.3 and PureVPN downloaded from plugins.

I put my user/pass in a filename 'purevpnauth' and copied to /mnt/hdd. Then I imported via menu of PureVPN, I then saw my correct credntials in the user and pass fields. However when I click I get auth error.

Just noticed that the servers that are added all all OVPN - are these valid for PureVPN or do the servers need to be added. Can't think why else I am getting an auth error - sems like the plugin is not connecting to PureVPN?

In which location are the credentials saved? I thought is was in etc/engina2/setings - but when I make changes there they are not read when I open the purevpn plugin. Basically I want to be able to add my credentials not using the TV remote.

Tried another skin - seems that the yellow circle is the service icon, on my other box (same provider and same settings) it appears as a white "play" arrow.

Those 720 skins install but I get they are too resource heavy, the box reboots but the overlays do not work properly, on the last slyk-q I got a blue overlay for menu but no options.

I guess I will just stick to the default.

I did that already - it downloads them to my hdd in the picons folder but per my post - they don't appear in my default skin. Just a yellow circle.

I use BMX already - the PICONS are no big deal, a nice to have but I can live without these.

I didn't find any streams that don't work, I guess that is down to the provider using old encoding?

Ha, so my other box is a Zgemma H9s, the Star 2S is something I dug out of the cupboard and I'm setting up for a family member.

Performance is actually remarkably acceptable once the box has booted, it can take 2-3 mins. But once up and running iptv is fine, zapping between bouquets and channels is absolutely fine. Just double checked and it is v7. 4 running.

The other threads regarding epg were in relation to the other box, but all that pain has made setting up here fairly straight forward. PICONS I didn't try on the h9s yet, just because I'm too lazy and busy to swap the boxes out.

I will try the skin attached and report my findings.

If I remove the prefix will it mess up the EPG importer which runs daily?

I installed the common dependencies ipk first, rebooted and then installed the skin before enabling it. The box boots but gets stuck on 99%. I've tried manually deleting the skin folder and editing the settings to go back to my original skin and then reinstalling.

Yes the provider has icons, I can see them in the icons folder on my USB.

Thanks - I've downloaded the PICONS from the iptv provider - as instucted I enabled via the channelselect menu but all I see is a yellow circle now in the channel list.

Is there a menu item to enable picons. I have the icons downladed to /media/hdd/picon but i do not see them in my epg or info bar?

Yes credentials taken from the client area, not those used to login to the client area. Definitely the correct ones.

I can confirm this does not work as others have reported back in August. I have input my credentials but will not connect.

My username is of the format: purevpn0s******

Same credentials in chrome extension and router work fine.
