As I wrote before: I do not have access to any set-top-box so I will be not able to check nor fix anything at least not in near future.

I thank you for your plugin ,you are the best good luck
"You do not thing so" and I will tell you the same thing.
What codec use the problematic movie?
Because h264 codec is supported by your hardware only up to Full HD.
If you whant to watch 4k movies then you need movies encoded with h265/hevc codec. This is your hardware limitation.
Do you have problem to understand this?

You do not have info about google reCaptcha v2 protection and possible work around (http://www.iptvplayer.gitlab.io/captcha.html) or maybe you did not read message carefully?
It looks like fileupload uses google reCaptcha v2 protection, samsamsam has given information on this.

Hello SSS
Thank you for your good work and follow up. I just want to ask if there is any way to make this plugin work on SPARK? or any similar plugin?

Hello - I can't seem to find an answer in this thread, but for me BBC iplayer has a problem. It loads upin E2iPlayer OK, and displays all the comtent, but whatever I select I get the message "no valid links available" - not 100% sure when this started but would guess within last couple of weeks, I'm in the UK on a UK ISP and iplayer works on other devices connected tothe same router. My otherE2iPlayer services (inclding ITV) areall still working. I don't think I've changed anything my end just wondering if this is a local problem to me or if others are experiencing similar. thanks.

Hi,
I think the reason is that you now need to "sign in" to BBCIplayer, you need an account and a device id that would be shown by BBCIplayer on the device you are trying to use it on,for example a Smart TV.
https://account.bbc.com/account/tv
It looks like BBCIplayer on E2iplayer doesn't have anywhere to enter any account details even if you do set an account up.
Please see the link below for all the info,
https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/…atest-news/account-signin
Hope this helps.

Hello escortrs - many thanks for the reply. That adds up - just odd that is has happened recently as the sign-in requirement goes back a lot further. I can work round it by using youtube-dl or get_iplayer on a PC to drop the downloads on to the Enigma2 box - just a bit more clunky. I always assumed the E2i plugin was related to those programs as neither of those (get_iplayer or youtube-dl) needs a BBC login on the same home network and same isp. Thanks again - not a disaster just a little odd.

I wanted to ask why there is no E2iplayer update

Hello dydyer
There is no "iptvplayer". The plugin name was changed a long time ago to E2iplayer. Please do not use old name.
In the near future there will be no update because I do not have access to any set-top-box nor to PC, I also lost my hdd with all data like workspaces for binary components builds. It fell from the desk

Why dont you just say there is no support anymore and be done with it, rather than persistently posting you have no access to a cheap enigma2 box and that your hard drive has fallen a short distance and died???
-
Because this true?
I also want to say something to you: please stop use my work. People like you are not welcome to use my work.
Do you understand this? You are using my work which take probably thousand of hours of my free time and you complain because I am writing true? Are you feeling good? It does not look like that.
I did not say that I do not have STB at all. I said that I do not have access to STB nor to my PC. Are you able to understand this?
So, if you will be so kind please stop use E2iplayer, you are not welcome to do this.

I would like to thank samsamsam for everything he has done
we have enjoyed over 7 years with e2iplayer. thank you sss

+1 great extension.
On the BBC iPlayer issue I noticed that OpenVix had an update recently that included a youtube-dl update - suspect that might be related to the iplayer service not working (for me anyway) on E2iPlayer.
In anycase thank you Sam for your efforts.
