How to recover deleted files on MUtant 51 HD

Hi people.

I have deleted some tv shows i have recorded on my Mutant HD 51 box.

Is it possible to recover deleted files, so i watch these tv shows again and how ?

Please help.

possibly, depends how they were deleted, for me they go to the recycle bin file on the hard drive, if you go there they might be able to be recovered.

Where are your old movie files saved.

HD / USB / Internal

If HD or USB just plug them into windows and run a file undelete program like Recuva.

If your external media has been converted to Ext4 then windows wont be able to view them though.

KiddaC the files have been stored on the Mutant HD51 in the folder \\Mutant51\Harddisk\movie

After i delte the files, and also from the trashcan - i dunno what to do, for recover these files.

Any suggest ?

Depends how desperate you are for these files and how hands you on you are.

Not to familar with mutants but If that is an internal drive. Just take it out and put it in a pc caddy and run an undelete program.

then they are gone forever, the trashcan is there in case of such issues. You could of restored from the trash can, they are normally kept there for 7 days, after which they are deleted permanently. But if you have deleted from both locations then they are gone....
