I downloaded an ipk file, as I was led to believe it would enhance my EPG, however once loaded it proceeded to stream porn in the background of menu's etc. I personally don't mind a bit of porn now and again but my kids and my wife won't. Can someone please advise how to get rid of it. Thanks

With DCC-E2 go to Tools >> IPKG Packages >> select the plugin you want to remove >> reboot your receiver..
Remove with telnet, if you know the package name, then use this command;
ipkg remove package name
[example package name] enigma2-plugin-extensions-4tube_xxx_all.ipk
[example command] ipkg remove enigma2-plugin-extensions-4tube_xxx_all.ipkYou can remove via the image menu, Manage extensions or with Software managment >> Manage extensions..

Hi, sorry to revive an old thread but I was wondering if someone could help. I'm using Solo2 with openvix and I installed enigma2-plugin-cams-oscam-ymodv18-56_openvix_all.ipk, but when trying to start it up it won't get started. So, how can I remove it? Thinking to reinstall with other ipk (same version different filename and source)

what plugin are you trying to remove?
what image are you using.. i.e openpli, openatv, openvix... other.
Most plugins you should be able to remove via your plugins menu on your box.
Others you can just ftp into your box and remove the specific folder related to the plugin you want to remove.your plugin folder lives here.
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions
